The Journey of Finding Myself

For most of my life, I was someone who searched for my identity, both professionally and personally. My photo model journey has been a path of fighting hard to prove to others—and to myself—that despite life’s challenges and the difficulties we encounter along the way, anything can be overcome.

I reached where I am today because I believed in myself, in my abilities, and, above all, in the unwavering support of my family and friends.

Today, my life is even better than I imagined. I have become the person I wanted to be. I feel at peace mentally and physically. This was not always the case, it took time and effort to build this foundation.

Why This Blog?

I created this blog to share my photo model journey and experiences in Munich. Through it, I aim to share my values, my aspirations, and offer advice to the best of my ability.

My hope is to remind you to hold on to your dreams, projects, and goals. As long as you have the will, nothing is impossible. As the saying goes, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Yes, the path may be long and filled with obstacles, but the question you must ask yourself is: Is it worth it? Only you can answer that by asking yourself the right questions.

How It All Began

My photo model journey started with my first experience in fashion back in 2017 with a friend and photographer, Nir Avner, who was looking for a model for his project, Beauty, featuring women’s portraits.

However, 2023 was when everything truly changed. A bit of background: I never actively sought to pursue this career path. While planning my wedding, I was searching for a professional makeup artist specializing in dark skin. Through Facebook, I was given the contact of someone who agreed to do my makeup for the event.

A few months later, after staying in touch with her, professional makeup artist and designer Lourdes Pacton Hofmann invited me to participate in one of her photoshoots. What started as a simple portrait shoot turned into an advertising session, marking a major milestone in my photo model journey.

From this shoot, everything changed. Several of my photos were published in an editorial magazine, and one of the images taken by S.O. bilder aus strom photo won the Gold Prize at the European Photography Award (EPA).

A New Dimension: The Fashion Shoot of September 2024

In September 2024, I had the immense honor of participating in a fashion shoot where I wore two of Lourdes Pacton Hofmann’s creations and worked again with bilder aus strom. This was a fantastic experience that introduced me to a world unlike anything I had known before in my photo model journey.

What’s Next? My Future Ambitions

Currently, I aim to progress as a commercial model, with the ambition of branching out into a completely new field in the coming years. My photo model journey has been unique—at 1.52m tall, my profile is distinctive, and no one expected me to reach where I am today. My goal is to participate in advertising campaigns, represent brands, and bring my personal touch and personality to each project.

Steps I’m Taking to Launch My Modeling Career

Entering the fashion world isn’t easy, as everyone knows. To start, it’s essential to know the type of model you want to become. I chose to create a second professional Instagram account as a first step. For potential clients and partners, it’s important to convey your personality and what you represent. Your clients should be able to see themselves in you if they’re considering choosing you to represent their brand.

Investing in a Website: The idea was suggested to me, and I was immediately drawn to it. Creating a personal website shows your professionalism and commitment. It enables direct communication with future clients and allows them to get to know you better before a potential face-to-face meeting. Though we have many platforms like Instagram and TikTok, websites are still highly valued, so invest in yourself and your image.

Who I Am and What I Stand For

If I were to describe myself, I’d say I am an optimistic, patient, and persevering person who loves challenges. This photo model journey has taught me to give my all to ensure the best results. I work daily with many clients and a supportive team, which inspires me to be better every day. I value sincerity, respect, and kindness.

My Tips Before a Shoot

For every shoot, it’s essential for me to arrive calm and relaxed. Always research the photographer or designer you’ll be working with. Most importantly, have confidence in yourself. Self-esteem is crucial in the fashion industry—if you lack it, you won’t be able to convince your client. Go in with confidence and good energy, and don’t let other models with more experience intimidate you. If you were chosen, it’s because you have a unique potential that deserves to be developed. Remember, your only real competitor is yourself.
